Introduction

I am a 17 year old chica with some great friends. I have a bunch of friends back at home, in Portsmouth, RI, and we do just about everything together. They accept me for who I am and never judge me. We are all so different but yet so much the same. I am a vibrant personality, which you will only see if you get really close to me. People have like a shell shock affect after they first meet me and form their opinion that I am a quiet person. They then realize what they got themselves into when they see what I am really like.My best friends have truly seen this in me, and in fact were the ones to inform me of this personality change I go through from my public life to my private life. I have no "best friend" only my best friends. My best girl friend I have only known since the beginning of my senior year of high school, her boyfriend is also a REALLY close friend of mine. my "brother" is an interesting kid. Due to family situation, as you can read below, I stayed with him and his family, who I am also close with, for a while :). This was some of the best times of my life. He and I are so close that it is ridiculous and we are ALWAYS there for one another. I know that if I really needed him he would be up here in heartbeat, and he knows that I would do the same for him. We each help the other with our personal problems by listening, offering advise, or by acting when need be. We have each others' backs and we always will. I don't make friends easily but when I do I love them and they know everything about me. My friends are seriously like a family! we have people who we each feel more comfortable talking to and know who to go to for certain types of advise but we all know that we are there for everyone for anything. The way this all started was with my brother and his then girlfriend, and friend of mine, starting a bible study group. I brought my best friend, and she her boyfriend. He then brought 2 of his friends and my brother brought a few of his friends. We all became a close knit group and since this summer we all have been inseparable! This family of friends has affected my home life however. I have a sister, biological, who is 7 who is having a rough time with my not being home, and with the addition of the fact that I hang out with my friends instead of her it is kind of driving her crazy. She is my lookalike but in personality we are completely different. She is a diva, a drama queen, and I guarantee when she gets to high school she will be the stereotypical prom-queen! She is also a fashion-ista. She drives me insane but she can be so funny too. I love my mom but we so don't see eye to eye so being home a lot is not one of my priorities. We have very different views and both of us are stubborn and won't give in. She tends to be overbearing and always hovering, this is explained in the essays that are available below. While I love my biological family, my family of friends means so much more to me, and help me so much more. This is me, this is my life, its bumpy so enjoy the ride :)
